Harjeev’s current research is situated at the intersection of severe brain injury, substance use and toxicity, and healthcare equity and ethics. Specifically, her PhD research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to examine ethics in neuroprognostication for patients with drug-associated cardiac arrest. Through this work, she aims to develop an ethics-oriented framework to support critical care decision-making.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”2_5″ _builder_version=”4.6.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.moraeslab.com/biapt/wp-content/uploads/UBC_20260205_PJ_9162-scaled-e1789055412476.jpg” title_text=”UBC_20260205_PJ_9162″ _builder_version=”4.10.5″ _module_preset=”default” max_width=”300px” module_alignment=”center” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.6.1″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||6px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row column_structure=”3_5,2_5″ _builder_version=”4.6.1″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||10px||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”3_5″ _builder_version=”4.6.1″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.10.5″ _module_preset=”default” header_2_font=”|700|||||||” header_2_font_size=”35px” custom_margin=”||0px||false|false” custom_padding=”1px|||||” hover_enabled=”0″ header_2_font_size_tablet=”” header_2_font_size_phone=”34px” header_2_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Genavieve Maloney

M.A.Sc Candidate

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider color=”#882383″ divider_position=”center” divider_weight=”8px” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” width=”7%” width_tablet=”12%” width_phone=”14%” width_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_margin=”20px||35px|-50px|false|false” custom_margin_tablet=”||0px|-50px|false|false” custom_margin_phone=”20px||0px|0px|false|false” custom_margin_last_edited=”on|tablet” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_divider][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_line_height=”1.8em” text_font_size_tablet=”” text_font_size_phone=”16px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Genavieve graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Honours Cognitive Science. In the BIAPT lab, Genavieve is pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering, where she investigates brain-heart interactions as a means of uncovering residual interoception in individuals who have sustained a severe brain injury.
